She wears mostly black leather type cloths. It is confirmed that the classic Active Time Battle system will return to the game, but there will be a number of enhancements to make the battles more challenging, such as mutliple characters can attack in a combo. A new Dress Up System is also added to the game, which allows a character to put on different costumes and "transform" to different job classes in the battles. You can change your costume with different kinds of dress spheres, the character returns to his/her original form after the battles. Another interesting note is that Wakka and Lulu finally got married, they will be in the game along with Kimahri, but it it uncertain whether they will be playable.
Well, it's semi-good news for me!
It uses the ATB system! Classic stuff.
Now that we have an inkling on how it plays...

I don't wanna go back to ATB after the turnbased goodness in FFX...
But I'm still forcing myself to be optimistic, even if it kills me!
-
I liked ATB a lot myself.
-
I'm optomistic about the game. Hopefully it'll spark a positive change in the series.

Normally I'd spend time here to decry the game like I would any pile of shit, but since every dollar and yen that Squaresoft earns from this will eventually come to Enix anyways, yay FFX2! Buy multiple copies so that I don't have to!
*projectile vomits on FFX*

I'm still can't believe that Square broke their unwritten vow not to release a true sequel to any given FF. Bah.

As long as they leave the ability to switch characters during battle I'm a happy person. The ability to change classes sounds pretty cool. I'm still torn whether I'll appreciate a direct sequel to an existing game more than an entirely new Final Fantasy universe. Oh well, I'll enjoy them either way.
No mention of Rikku though, damn!

More masculine than Squall?

Wow; you mean to tell me that it may very well not actually suck?
You guys are forcing me to look forward to another Final Fantasy Game. Every time I say I'll never waste money on another one... I have every Final Fantasy with the exception of the NES ones, and those I have emulated.
