Woah. I can't believe it! It's finally a reality and it looks GOOD. Now, excuse me while I clean up my pants...
Isn't Brownie Brown supposedly developing it for Square though?
I thought Nintendo bought Brownie Brown.
Pretty. Makes me want to go fire up Legend of Mana again.
Yeah, you heard me right. Deal.
*wants Legend of Mana*
I had a friend lose my copy of Legend on me :( and I never got to play more than 5 min of it.
Feel kind of stupid hoping for a port of Seken Densetsu 3 considering I beat it already. I'm definitely looking forward to this one. And I didn't like Legend of Mana.
The only Seiken Densetsu game I've played is Final Fantasy Adventure, so I have some catching up to do, I am afraid... I've never been a big ARPG fan.
WOOT!!! 'bout time. Hope it doesnt have the fragmented story like Legend of Mana.
Noooooooo, nooooooooooo, noooooooooooo Gameboy, nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
*weeps*
*returns to playing Legend of Mana*
Looks like a nice amalgimation of Legend and Secret of Mana.
I enjoyed both games, and I look foward to seeing what this game is all about.
I have seen that word used in context more since the Square/Enix merger was announced than I had my entire life before that.Quote:

It's a great word, I try to use it often.Quote:

And my mind still really hasn't registed the whole enix/square "thing".
I mean I know it's happening: but it just hasn't sunk in.
Cool :)
That makes 4 Square GBA games announced so far, 3 offically anyway and one of them is out already... I bought that one already ;)

Isn't Brownie Brown made up of some/most of the members that made Secret of Mana?

What Sqaure game came out for the GBA?
Playing this new Mana on a TV will be sweet. When are we getting the GBA to TV thingamajig?

This is a remake of the first game (FFA). And yes it is done by Brownie Brown. I saw them listed as the copyright holder in the corner of one of the scans.Quote:

I'll post some next week, I'm still waiting for it to come :)Quote:

I can tell you what I know so far about it though ;) It was a game that was originally planned for the WonderSwan Color but later switched over to the GBA, it is a board game/party style title similar to Dice De Chocobo that was included in the Chocobo Collection PSX game.
You can see some pictures HERE
First off: Hell fucking yes!
Secondly: If I recall, Brownie Brown was purchased by Nintendo, but got farmed out to Square to do this game (go figure). Also, I think the article (EGM a month or two ago) also mentioned it would be based on FFA, but not a direct remake.
This is some fucking awesome news right here. Wahoo, noonch.
This is great news, I loved Legend of Mana, and least this time it appears the main characters ACTUALLY SPEAK. I've kind of always hated main characters who don't speak, one thing I didn't like about Chrono Trigger... Still great though.
This is just too good... but we'll have to wait till probably December next year, assuming they schedule to release it in America (Which I'm sure they will). Then again I know nothing about time when it comes to how long before they release a game in Japan and when they release it in America. Either way, I'm happy :).
That bottom left pic reminds me of the Snes Mana *prays*
I didn't care for Legend.
looks good to me
another good gba game coming out
i want to vomit it looks so good. i'm gonna start back on legend of mana over break. guess i'll play through it in nightmare mode this time. ouch.
GBA= love
Damn, this looks good. I will definitely be all over this one.
Looks interesting. Hopefully it'll be more like SoM than I hear LoM was. :)
So is this thing going to be multiplayer? That was definitely my favorite part of SOM.
Is this confirmed now? I enjoyed FFA (really... it makes more sense to call this game "new FFA" than "new SoM" but I digress), and since someone stole my copy, I wouldn't mind getting a remake.Quote:

But the first time I heard about a GBA Seiken Densetsu, they said it was a remake of the original. But about a week later, someone (maybe gamespot? possibly gameforms) said it would be a new game like FFTA. Let me see if I can find the articles, and I'll edit if I find.
I'm not completely sure, but there look to be parrallels and the title is pretty ambiguous in that regard. That's what I've been hearing though, and I've yet to hear anything official to the contrary.Quote:
