I thought it was supposed to be a remake, it already looks nothing like the original, which was what I was hoping for. The footage shown in the trailer already looks too polished, it's not Texas Chainsaw Massacre without the feeling of being very grainy and dirty.
But I'll admit, when they started doing the camera clicking sound effect I got a big smile on my face.

Not really. Bruce has been busy. He had Bubba-hotep and that scifi/alien invasion film that was on Scifi channel last December.

I don't think Bubba came out yet. I've seen reviews for it though. They finished that months and months ago.
Well, Bubba is coming out in September, I think. But its been done for quite a while, and been shown on all kinds of festivals.
