Anyone think this will be a breakout hit on DVD? It did so well in theatres and the disc sounds so good I can see every Jason and Freddy fan buy it.

I think it'll be a big hit. As for the transfer, New Line always does a top-notch job.

Damn, just a month away...I'm suprised they didn't release this for the holiday shopping season, however.

yeah ive got the retail disc (no bonus disc) and lemme say, jump to a kill is sweet :)

Deleted scenes are on disk 2? F***ing S***!! I was hoping they could have a cut-in option so we could still see them "IN" the movie. I'll be the first one to say how much this actually blows.

Yea, I hate when companies do that. It's one reason I love the LOTR extended releases, since they splice them back in and it makes the movie that much better in my eyes.

I could understand alternate intro / ending, but I bet some of the extra scenes could be put back in no problem.

Best Buy's site says they'll have it for $19.99.

As for the deleted scenes being on disc 2, I don't mind. I'm just happy we have them at all. The press conferance should be cool, too. The had a boxing-match style weigh in in Vegas with Michael Buffer doing the announcing and everything, followed by a press conferance. The had pics from it at the FvJ sire. Should be funny.
