I am pretty sure Sega already has Horse Racing Arcade games in Japan for quite some time now, and from what I saw they are HUGE in size. Big Squares for people to stand around and watch the race. And its no big suprise, Horse Racing games do very well in japan.
I know horse racing [and hore racing games] are big in Japan, I just never knew Sega took part in that kind of thing.
I've been playing Derby Owners Club, World Edition at a local arcade for a while now, just broke 1 Million $ with my house. People get kinda crazy over it, there is usually a line for seats, and people have BINDERS of horse cards to use.
Derby Stallion stickers came with the blue skeleton Saturns for a reason... ;)Quote:

If anyone wants me to upload a picture of the Derby Owners club machine, I got one on my digicam.
I personally can't stand the game. It's too expensive (9 tokens per game, plus it uses it's own tokens) and everyone knows that Final Furlong is the best horse racing game ever XD!!!
Why are horse racing games so popular over there? Is it because horses are exotic to them?
I wanted those damn things, too...Quote:
