Sega GT 2002 OFFICIAL THREAD

OK, the old Sega GT thread disappeared, and I know some of you (ahem...johnpv, Gohan-X) have this game, so let's get some discussion going, shall we?

I don't much care for racing sim games but Sega GT 2002 is an exception. Maybe it's just because I got the game free with my XBox, but I still really enjoy it. The handling of the cars feels realistic while still maintaining a fast-paced arcade feel, and the graphics are great. Plus there's a nice selection of cars from the '60s all the way up to the 21st century and beyond. Right now I'm racing a Ford GT Concept, a Honda NSX-R, a Dodge Charger and a Nissan (technically Datsun) 240ZS, and I'm a few races away from the SS License Test. For my next car I'm eyeing either a Corvette Stingray or a Nissan Skyline GT-R. Plus I've got a Mercedes 300SL in the garage that's just begging to be driven.

Anybody else having fun with this game? Or have some questions they need answered?

I tried this out at a friend's place and was impressed by it. I'll see if I can find a second hand copy in Akihabara this weekend. I'm no car expert but I liked the selection in Sega GT 2002 although I would have liked more European cars.

I havent gotten into it yet like the main main game cause the cars that you can afford are all mostly shit

i liked playing the classic challange though need to get back to that one of these days
