Yeah, well, I'm sick of my makeshift, stop-gap solution turntable, the Pioneer 200 (crap).
I'm putting together with my pops to get an American DJ deck (which one in particular, I'm not sure). Anybody heard anything on these decks?
The primary use will be beat mixing. Hopefully, these badboys will have some quartz-lock and allow for decent pushing and pulling. If not, forget that shit.

Well, I tried keeping Sleeveboy in my back pocket, but he just got all uppity and kept demanding independant rights. I had to let him go... *sniff*
You get exactly what you pay for with turntables. There is no substitute for the 1200s. In the long run, you will save yourself money if you are serious about djing. Just hold out until you get more cash- you will thank yourself later.
