SHIT! I wanted to order the January mag that had the HOTD3 artwork and KOF Poster!:mad:
Whenever I get an issue I always go straight to the poster (obviously) and after that the fanart. Well this one has the lamest poster in the history of free posters but the fan art rules (hi-larious Shinden pic) just like always. Beyond that I find the idea of Tower of Druaga on a cel phone rather perplexing and Ketsui's gonna be NUTS! Since I'm not a fan of the VF series, bemani, gun games or racing games this issue wasn't very exciting for me.

Is there a special Arcadia Frontiers section?
Nah, nothing special about the Frontiers dept. except, as always, the overfuckingwhelming quality of the artwork itself. Man it is amazing to see how much effort fans put into just being fans in Japan. Very impressive. Man I wish I could read what this magazine is telling me about Guilty Gear XX. This could very well be the best fighting game I've ever known (yes, just as good as 3rd Strike, for reals) and I want to know ALL!
BTW, there is a little section featuring all sorts of nicely drawn little "Happy New Year" messages from all our favorite arcading developers/publishers. There's an AiAi one from Amusement Vision that'll probably be my next avatar if I don't see it being anybody else's over the next few months. The Metal Slug and Soul Caliber ones are also specifically dope.

God, that poster sucks worse than I thought. The artwork in fantastic. Amazing stuff. The art feature is great, too... lots of cutesy anime chicas from some arcade datingish game...

Off the top of my head, Pacrappa's avatar looks like Vanguard from Marvel comics.
I believe the avatar is the Texas Twister, old nemesis of the Fantastic Four, but I think the contest revolves around his upcoming avatar, not this one.
Yeah, now that I look at it, I think its the Texas Twister. Vanguard was never apt to smile. i always pictured the texas twister with a cowboy hat; at least that's how i remember it from the handbook of the marvel universe that was taken from.
