Cooolest gaming freebie

When I opened up this month's issue of Nintendo Power, I was surprised to see that they were giving away a CD containing an orchestral concert with 15 songs from Super Smash Bros Mele . This is easily the coolest subscriber bonus I've ever received from any game magazine and it sure as hell beats those lame 10 page cheat booklets I get from EGM.

So it got me thinking about all the lame gaming freebies I've received over the years and I was wondering what is the coolest bonus item you've ever received? And was it obtained from pre-ordering a game, a subcriber bonus, or by some other method?

I like my Crazy Taxi air freshiner and my Dreamcast T shirt.

I love my Sonic 10th Anniversary stuff, especially the CD.

I've recieved quit a few but the one's from Sega are pretty nice.

I also recieved 2 Dreamcast T-shirts from Funcoland, for reserving a Dreamcast.

NiGHTS Christmas, Standee's of VF4, Crazy Taxi, Crazy Taxi 2, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle and Halo and a bunch of Tee-Shirts to name a few. I like the Gamecube tee and the Sega Sports Polo best.

Sonic 10th Anniversary pack was pretty swag, but my personal favorites remain the soundtrack and kick-ass artbook I got with Castlevania: SotN and the Miyazaki art cell that came with Jade Cocoon :D

Does anybody remember the paper mask for Panzer Dragoon Saga in that one issue of EGM? It let you dress up like the character since you couldn't find a copy of the game :lol:

But nothing can top the free Dragon Warrior for the NES from Nintendo Power. A free game!! That was unheard of from a magazine.

It probably will be Ocarina of Time for GameCube.

But besides that, the Jet Set Radio Future sample soundtrack was given out for free for a while. You didn't even have to buy the game(although everyone who wanted the CD probably did own it).
