Work from 7 til 6pm. Then go home and play Splinter Cell. :)
Well, the g/f doesn't get back until New Year's Day, so, I agreed to participate in my brother's Halofest that night. Bunch of guys coming over with xboxs and all that...hopefully, I'll borrow some copies of Timesplitters 2 from my store (for system link), and get them hooked on that....I'm becoming pretty tired of Halo, to be honest...
Hang out with the closest and dearest while playing daddy and trying to keep him up long enough to check out the fireworks. You can see 'em right across the river over there.
Party down the shore. I think I have work till 6, so I won't get down there until at least 8. Long ass drive.
Same party I always go to when I'm at home: 10-15 people I've been friends with for 6-8+ years, friend's basement, too much alcohol, too much weed (don't participate in that).
Gonna do our usual family New Year's Eve party then do the countdown at midnight. Meanwhile my brother gets to go to Vegas, the lucky bastard.
I'm gonna see if I can sneak out and go buy some fireworks sometime today or tomorrow :p
I'm just going to be smiling ear to ear because I won't have to go into work the next day.
I'll be spending the entire day reading every GameFAQs review that day. Fun.
Really? It's a shame you can't get out to do a little something.Quote:

Well, Monday is my day to do review of the day for the reviewer boards, and I have to read the reviews on Tuesday, so that's why.
was gonna go to a party with my old friends that i've known since high school, but they drink way too much for my liking......last year everyone got sick and ended up throwing up all of new years day. i'm gonna go to the monument in DC with some of my new friends from school and watch the fireworks. the weather's gonna be great during the day tomorrow too.....a high of 58 degrees. yummy.
Watch a movie and count down in Animal Crossing probably.
NYE is just a Saturday night that occurs during the middle of the week for me. I didn't feel like dropping $100 to reserve a spot a one of the clubs downtown, more $$$ for parking and a hotel, etc. It's just not worth it when I'll have a better time spending less $. I'm just going to go over to a friends place, play some drinking games, get wasted, and check out the countdown. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but NYE really has begun to lose some of its luster. I just don't like getting so hammered that I puke my brains out, forget what the hell happened, and feel like shit the next day as much as I used to.
It's the next day that I'm looking forward to. A day off from work and Bowl games all day? Now that's what I'm talking about! :)
I plan on drinking. Then, perhaps, a little driving.
I hate New Year's.. so many years ago I started a tradition of playing one of my new Xmas-videogames on New Year's.... and that usually suits me just fine. Whenever I deviate from the tradition I have a lousy time... so I think I'll be spending NYE with Shinobi. ;)
don't forget to kiss him at midnight.Quote:

Turn the Dickmobile into the Partymobile, head out to a jazz show, hit up Denny's, pass out on the beach until sunrise, the usual.
I know it sounds boring, but I'll be spending it alone with my wife. We always have little picnic on the living room floor and then welcome in the new year in each others arms. Sappy yes, but I wouldn't want to spend it any other way.
Drunk at work. That's the plan.

So New Year's isn't really a special ocassion for Tracer, huh?
Dying my hair.
That's about my only plan, really.
Plans? Well... no. I'll just stay home, crank some tunes and read some books.
We Minnesotans know how to party.
However, Lhadatt should post here. He told me something about getting "wicked ripped" tonight. Not sure what that means; but he is from Texas!
I'll spend it with my Animal Crossing friends while drinking kamakazie.
Going to a party, I'll be drinking, drinking, smoking, drinking, drinking.... drinking then smoking. :D
I don't drink, so an imposter must have told you that.Quote:

We must find the infidel imposter scurge! May I borrow some Secret Service agents, Mr. President?
No. You're a liar. You're a flaming drunk, just like my uncle. Just like the Soviets and their vodka.

I made that one, BTW, feel free to use it for next Christmas. :)
I'll be staying home.
sggg, you are not alone- frankly, I don't give 1/1000 of a damn about New Year's. It's become a big "So What" for me.
For me, it's not worth chancing an encounter with a drunk driver. Then again, you could also meet someone indoors whose judgment is faffed up by alcohol... some of these people can be damn quarrelsome.
Just sitting here.. unless I'm told to do otherwise..
I guess.. http://www.zeetec.net/host/theprodigyuk/shrug.gif
Scratch original plans. The small one got SO cranky a whole, oh, ten minutes after his usual bed time that there will be no fireworks for him.
He is now in bed.
Meh.
sitting at home with nothing to do
Truthfully, I don't want to do a damn thing. I've got a couple parties I could go to, but lack of sleep these last few days means it'll suck coming back home in a few hours. I've been working too much and stressing over money matters way too much, so perhaps some relaxation is in order. Until Thursday, when I have to wake up early because I don't remember if I'm supposed to go to work at 9am or noon. Damn.
I suppose I should go just to wish my friend a happy birthday. Which reminds me, it's also my moms birthday, and I haven't called her yet. Off to the phone...
Innova, play games damn it. I have a ton of GBA games I may as well pour into. Plus, I wanna get back into Dragon's Lair 3D and Ghost Recon. I'll have a belated new year's bash on Friday when I am off again.
Orochi: didn't know you were a daddy.
With that said, HNL everyone.
You heard the man, hook up with some Happy Nude Lesbians.:)
Heh HNL?? maybe Bahn meant Happy New Year? I dunno?
And so I partied anyway. We drank, we cooked a bunch of meat, and we watched a bunch of hysterical porn. Parties with punks are so much better then parties with ravers, especially candy ravers.
But then things messed with my head once I returned home after midnight, where I had a conversation with a female I love (and she in return) whilst she sat in my lap for an hour. The problem there is she has a boyfriend. Shortly after that I was forced to deal with a lying sack of shit who stole some stuff from me, made up a bunch of poorly put-together stories about how he had bought the stuff from someone else but heard it was mine, hence him returning them (after about half a year or so). If they only weren't stories based off other stories I'd heard from him before in a different order (clearly my memory is better then his when it comes to what he's said to me) it might've been passable.
And thus I left 2002 happy and entered 2003 horny, tense, and pissed. This is not a good sign.
Same as always.Quote:
