January photoshop contest: "Rare NES carts"(win 2 PS2 games!)
Happy New Year's, everybody. Let's get the first photoshop contest of the new year off the ground, here are the rules.
1. The contest is called "Rare NES carts". Photoshop something interesting/cool/funny into an NES cart. You may want to take a look at some of the old NES cart boxarts to come to grips with the high calibur of artistry used back in those days. An example has been included so you can get an idea of what we're looking for(notice a pattern with these?).

2. Limit of three entries per contestant, make sure your 3 are up to snuff.
3. The size limit is 800X600, but I'm sure you can make it a little smaller than that. Especially when the filesize limit is 70K. We were pretty lenient in the last contest, but image size and filesize rules will be enforced in this one. If your entry is over 70K, it's not going to count. It won't be put into the main site's contest gallery. So be careful.
4. As far as content goes, try to keep it somewhat tasteful. The TNL rules apply here, so don't create anything that the administration would have a problem with.
5. You can either post your entries in this thread(if you can upload it to your own webspace), or you can email them to me(if you can't upload it to your own webspace).
You'll probably need a template for the NES cart to get started, a good source would be Google Image Search. Do a search for "NES cartridge", find a good image, then copy that into your image editor.
The winner will receive 2 games.
1. Silent Hill 2(PS2)
2. Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore(PS2)
The prize ships internationally, so those of you overseas should take part too. Once the contest has ended, a gallery will be created on my site, and the winner will be chosen by my staff.
This contest runs from January first(1/1/03) until February first(2/1/03).
