I noticed at TRU that the Pokemon N64 systems with the special design are only $49.99. Anyone pick up a spare to store away of have as a backup? For that price it's a great deal and someday they will be hard to find and maybe go for some good $. I just don't really have the space to store backup systems though.
Still it's a great price. I still wish I bought a few spare DC systems when they were $50 a pop.
Pokemon is a bit of a fad, I don't think the value will increase too much over the years.

I wish they redesigned the N64 similar to the Pokemon one, but without the freaking Pikachu plastered on to it. I'd definitely pick one up then, but I'm affraid my sheer manlyness restricts me from a blue, Pikachu-embroided N64.
You could always chisel Pikachu off and replace it with something more manly.
