I think this is a no-brainer here.
OSU has Maurice Clarrett...thats about it.
Miami has Andre Johnson, Winslow Jr, Dorsey and Mgahee. Not to mention all the other recievers they have.
Right now, I'm surprised Mgahee is off to a really slow start.
I'm going with Ohio. Both teams are undefeated, but I'm personally tilted toward OSU.
Well, so far it is Ohio's defense that has been the deciding factor. Hopefully my prediction will hold up.
I had a feeling that Ohio State would pull this off, and right now, with the game at 17-14 in the fourth, it looks like theyre gonna do it. Very cool.
Props to Ohio St. for pulling out the victory in one of the most exciting national championships I've ever watched.
I'll eat my serving of crow now.
And Krenzel definitely deserves the MVP award for this game. Man, what a clutch performer.
I just wanna say - this was the BEST football game I have *ever* seen. College, pro, junior varsity, whatever. It was fucking amazing. This is what football should be, and hopefully all the people here who talk shit about it because "they wear pads" (or whatever other reason, like comparing it to rugby) will shut their mouth now.
The OT system in college should be implemented in the Pro game.
Nice game.. eventhough i dont like football..
But one thing taht got on my nervs.. the FootBall OT sucks big time.. i hate it.. what kind of crap is that.. its not climatic, or exiting at all.. Thbey should take notes from MLB, and NBA.. which have better extra innings, and OT.. that gets the croud invloved. I hate seeing them go back and fourth..

What!!!????
That was far more exciting, then seeing one team get the ball, and not even getting a chance to respond, like the NFL does. I've always hated how the NFL handled overtime. This was one of the best championship games I've seen, since the Rams Vs. Titans.
Yep... this Fiesta Bowl was always close. The suspense in this one was way up there. They had to work for it, but Jim Tressel & Co. pulled through in the end.
Great game. :D

Rams vs. Titans was better than Patriots vs. Rams? Come on now...Quote:

Miami was cheated. What a terrible call on that 4th and 3 Ohio pass into the end zone. Ruins what was otherwise a great game
The thing is, the wrong penalty was called. Gamble was clearly held before the judgement interference call. The result should have been half the distance to the goal line instead of at the 1.
Maybe it would have changed things, but then, you could also say the same to an earlier judgement call where an OSU receiver was ruled out of bounds that would have resulted in a first down near field goal range.
EDIT: What the ref said about his call:
"I saw the guy holding the guy prior to the ball being put in the air," Porter said. "He was still holding him, pulling him down while the ball was in the air. I gave the signal for holding. Then I realized it should be pass interference because the ball was in the air."
He should have just stuck with holding.
the refs were shoddy both ways.
I kinda pity McGahee. He had all this money to look forward to after the game, now he has to go back to Miami, recover that fucked up knee for a year and wont even know if he'll be #1 on the depth charts in 2004.
Yea, the penalty was holding, not pass interference. Klonoa's right. But in any case, Ohio State deserved to win that game. They outplayed Miami from start to finish, and executed their game plan remarkably well. It's only because Miami was so good that they were able to stick with it; a lesser team would've been crushed by halftime. But ultimately Miami's luck ran out and they were outplayed.
This has to be the best college football game I've ever witnessed. That was a botched PI call in the endzone, I agree, but the refs also botched up the 4th down catch by OSU with around 1:30 left in the fourth that would have been a first down, and would have avoided the punt return into field goal range by Miami. The Big Ten really needed to come through this bowl season and that they did.

Its safe to say he tore every ligament in his knee.
He probably doesn't have a kneecap either.
ooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
yeah, that is really to bad for him. No more shoe deals now.
Best football game I've ever watched. I live on OSU's campus and it was fucking nuts here all night. I drank more than I ever have in my life, campus was nuts (and still is!) I didn't get home from the bars and partys until about 6 am this morning. Columbus fucking rocks!!!! (well, for a few days it will :p )
I'd imagine a lot of OSU female students taking pregnancy tests today.
Not for a few weeks (you don't test positive at first :D )
I'm watching the Green Bay game right now and I must say (as a big GB fan) Fuck you Vick! Can't wait to watch the Brownies tommorow, an all Ohio Football sweep would be nice, it's been a loooooong time comming,
I'm a Bears fan, but William Green's emergence in the second half propelled my fantasy team into the playoffs. In return, I say "GO BROWNS!!!"Quote:

This GB game is getting good. GB was down 24-0 at the half, they come out in the 2nd to snow falling finaly and they drove it 73 yards to a great catch by 80 for the TD. Now let's kill Vick and everything will be fine.
not for the squeemish....
really, really nasty injury

The second half was, IMO. The first half of Rams-Titans was anaesthesia.Quote:
