Odds are there are not enough good proof-readers to go around :/
Most people in Japan don't understand English anyway so there's not big need for it and who knows... maybe Engrish is becomeing a tourist attraction... Fuji might be making alot of money off of the hilarious mis-sayings.

I always figured that they don't have enough money to hire a translator so they type it into Babel Fish and use the results. Either way, this stuff is amusing.
I can understand some, but others are so off the wall it's not even fair to credit babelfish.
