CoreBoy: Hey. take that back...it is NOT juvenile. I mean, for one...eggs should not be sitting on a wall. And the fact a whole bunch of ppl were trying to put him back together....well, that IS poetic if I do say so myself.

Yes, let us all pretend that bahn doesn't joke around with people and that nursery rhyme wasn't a complete joke saying that bahn can't write poetry. :rolleyes:Quote:

In the Illuminate Shadow of Forest... by Bahn :D
wandering, through intermitent, non-determined
thought.
faltering, under the furious wear
of nameless insects.
The penetrating buzz
merely identifiable. black
specs of translucence, indeterminable
dust in the ray of a beam.
parasitic eyesores,
in the close focus of surrounding.
(this void of peace is filled
with the fluttering of struggle)
Maintaining uncertain distance
- maddening uncertainty -
constant fluctuant buzz,
intermitent of thoughtless though
-then
trickling,
whistling,
pouring:
water (a nearby stream)
and the songs of tree-top birds
in chorus, with the wispers of wind
alone.
silent wind
occasionally stirring
sunlight and shadows.
smooth,
rustling leaves.
the songs of the forest.
Shadows dance, Swirling
abstracted illuminance of sky.
London Bridge is falling down...
falling down...
falling down...
London Bridge is falling down...
my fair lady.
(learn the difference) ;)
..... !

that right there is art or something similiar.
Indeed.
all I can do is freestyle, and even then it's nothing good enough to have mopey teenage girls fawning over me...I think.
*ponders*
you speak of shackles
tabernacles that aplaud
your grit, you're goth

just dancing to the sound

That's the best god damned poem I have ever read.Quote:

The rest of you are just goths. I had to write a poem in English the other day, I wrote "Hey Look, I'm Goth" just despite the goth girl who sits next to me. Made her so very mad, made me so very happy.
*looks at the first two poems*
And people say MY stuff is pretentious crap?
Anyway, here's a few lines off the top of my head, since I can't be boogered to get one of my finished poems off the CDR...
AUTUMN
"Autumn is the pernicious season; the one we named the Fall
That marks the yearly ruin of nature, when the leaves fall in shame
Bearing the colors of shades and shadows of fire and flame
As if remind us of the wage of that first time we called The Fall.
But few weep at Autumn's coming, for they know all is not finished
As nature shall only die to live again, as it always has before
For while there is life, the prospect of rebirth remains evermore
Even in times when even Nature herself is a thing greatly diminished."
