LOMO cameras [and pictures...]
My friend got a LOMO camera for Christmas, so we took a late night spin yesterday to look for interesting things to photograph. This is no ordinary camera. It is Russian-developed and was used as a spy camera quite a while ago until some one rediscovered it and starting to remanufacture the thing. The camera does not have a flash and the cameras have an extremly high quality lens... The photos it produces are quite unique.
So we did a test run last night and the results are pretty damned cool. Lights of all kinds [in the dark] come out to look like long streaks of colors... It really is something to see. Hard to explain, but I think you see what I mean...

There's a bunch of cool and differnt things that you can do with this seemingly simple camera.

" Lomo Kompakt Automat
THE LOMO CAMERA - The legendary LOMO Kompakt Automat is a small, black, aromatic, robust, precise and fully automatic snapshot camera made in St. Petersburg, Russia. And IT'S GOT Professor Radionov's ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE LENS: for razor-sharp images, highly light sensitive, 32mm wide-angle. This beady little eye sees everything and makes colours radiate."
I liked it so much that I had to buy one on eBay tonight.
Anyone have one... hear of them... anything?
