I'm here at my apartment in Seattle (Redmond) about to start my new job, and have to deal with a dial-up modem. Its gonna take a while to unload all my pictures, so hang in there guys.

Did you have a chance to play any of the Lord of the Rings based games? I know there are some for the GBA, GC, PS2, and XBOX planned, but which ones were shown? I'd like to hear some impressions on them.
I'm really excited about Star Wars Bounty Hunter and Knights of the Old Republic. Have any opinions on those two games?
And what about the Tiny Toons games for the GBA and PS2? I haven't heard much about them since GameGo.

OK, this is taking longer than I thought.
I'll upload a couple pics a day until Thursday. On Thursday I'll be in office so I can upload the rest. Heres what I have uploaded so far:
Here is PSO on GameCube. The game looks great so far. On the left is one machine set up for four player NON-online play. The other three setups to the right are all linked together for network play.
Here is the Keyboard/Controller for the GameCube. This seems to be the new thing (a controller with a full keyboard in the middle) as many companies are copying this design for GameCube and other consoles but I won't name names. This controller is being manufactured by ASCII, but by the looks of it, it was designed and manufactured by Nintendo. The buttons are first party, as are the analog sticks and the curves of the pad. I think Nintendo is letting ASCII release it for some reason.

It'd go quicker if the pictures weren't quite so... massive.

I have pics of the full-sized hobbit hole and some LoTR booth babes from the show. They will be uploaded soon. I saw the XBOX version on the show floor. It looks impressive, but seems to resemble the Shrek engine in many ways. I hope it improves. As for in depth stuff, I'm with you buddy.Quote:

As far as Bounty Hunter goes, I missed it completely. KotOR was show in video at the XBOX press conference and it looked C--H--O--P--P--Y. There were times where the game seemed to run at a smooth 60fps, and then in scenes where there was grass, or other moving characters or anything else, the game chugged and was beaten down to what seemed like 10 FPS. I think Bioware will pull it out, they are very talented.Quote:

I took a stroll through the Conspiracy games booth and don't remember seeing anything. I'll check my pictures to see if I have anything on "film" even though I'm using a digital camera.

Thanks for the impressions. I sure hope KOTR is fixed and not just some half-assed Star Wars RPG :( You are right, Bioware is very talented and they still have time to fix it...I hope.
Oh, do you have any pics of monkeys??? Was anybody dressed up for Super Monkey Ball 2 or Ape Escape 2? How about any monkey related swag for SMB2? I'd kill for that Amusement Vision SMB t-shirt Metal Slug posted. :)
Edit- Do you think the PSO keyboard/controller conglomeration is any good? Judging from the pic you posted it's about the length of 2 Gamecubes, so it probably wouldn't be too big to rest on your lap. That was one of my pet peeves in PSO. When I wanted to type I had to set down my controller. Thankfully the controller never fell, dropping the VMU and erasing my FOnewm!
I have pics of Monkeyball 2 for NGC, and pics of Monkeyball for GBA. I didn't like the way the GBA version controlled, but it pushed the hardware HARD. Its a fully 3D Monkey ball with slightly sluggish controls. I'll have pics and impressions soon. I also have monkeys in the pics of Sega's booth, but nobody dressed like a monkey. :(Quote:

The controller is lightweight and designed to be held when playing and placed on your lap when typing. Its a great design and just feels right. I can't guarentee anything though, as I wasn't able to sit down and use it, I had to stand :(.Quote:

By the way, if nobody noticed, the controller part of the keyboard goes into controller port 1 while the keyboard goes into controller port 4. So much for 2 or more people connecting to the internet from one gamecube. And if it IS possible, it would be either with only one other friend, or without the benefit of typing...
Would be fun to go multiplayer "teams" against other teams from the same place? (Talk about bad wording *sigh*, you know what I mean, I hope)
