i recieved a message in a bottle here at my hideaway on the islad of Dr. Klahn (yes it is worse than detroit) it was from my longtime friend BK... not british knights ( i used to wear those hehe) not burger king (lord knows i quit eating fast food after the dot com fighter.. thanks riv) it was none other than bonuskun
the message read and i quote
"its been 5 years here in this jungle and we have yet to see the rare CPTULUS' (CVS2 Playing Unkempt Laughing Undead Stoners) and...." oh wait ... wrong message

The funny thing is, I've passed over this thread for two weeks without really paying attention. Sadly, I only popped into GF Tavern a few times, and those were under my friend's name, since I did all my online surfing at his house. Damn, all the shit I missed.

Thats a long time.
Everyone seems really tight together and such.
I am on IRC chat alot at a neo geo room, and i have been to GF tavern a few times.
Once i was in and i talked for a while then left, it was a good disscution too. I think it was about neo geo.
But other times i was just kicked or banned for no reason.
But i understand its a really tight community and such, so its understandable, and i never held a grudge or anything.
But after i read the thread i just wanted to say that thats awesome that it has been going for 5 years.
and if i go in GF tavern please dont ban me when i enter.
But i just wanted to say that is cool that its been going so long.
And this thread was a really good read if i must say so myself.

I think that the tavern has stayed together not only because of a commen interest and friendship. I think it has much more to do with lazziness, hatred and just plain insanity. That and most other chatrooms on the net suck big donkey balls.
