Desktop 2k3... Edition

Bumping old threads is :cool:. The guy above me looks like he could use some TrueLaunchBar (http://www.truelaunchbar.com).

How can some of you stand the default Windows XP stuff? It's ugly as hell. Windows Classic still outperforms any of the StyleXP themes as well. Watercolor and a couple of the Mac theme ports are pretty cool though, so I do use those occasionally.:)

StyleXP sucks; it's really buggy and all. I just patched UXTHEME.DLL and went on my way.

OSX themes are okay, but they don't beat using Jaguar itself. X sucked until Jaguar came out, now it's actually a pretty rockin' operating system.

I probably should have mentioned in mine that the background image is a picture I took of my porch, with my flag on it. Smaller image:

I think I'll download that launchbar, you're right, I need it. As for the theme, I haven't gotten around to trying out others. I may do that tonight.

I'm not a fan of any of the non windows classic themes, but most of all, I can't stand those icons people like to stick into their tool bars.
