Should females be alowed to fight on the front line? Why or why not?
Yes.. If they want to. Same with males, I believe you should control your own destiny in that sense. I think it's BS that in some sects of the military females don't have to be equal to a male to make it in, whereas a male has to do more than a woman does. (e.g., males haves to hike with 100 pounds and females with 60 [hypothetically])

I agree with Rich. If a woman feels that she wants to fight, then that's her perrogative. There's no reason why a woman with the right attitude can't be trained to fight just as good as a guy.
I can think of some reasons why they shouldn't. Like the fact they have a femin life cycle to deal with that would be in the way during combat, and causes their judgment to change slightly as time go's by do to the chang in the ratio of totesterone to estrogen. Of course that changes from case to case, some women are effected virtually none by this, while some are tormented beyond belief by it. I think if you can pass the mans training under these conditions you should be able to fight. And also, if modern science really tried, they should be able to come up with a pill to suppress that cycle completely for combat. We can put a man on the moon, why not make their lives easier?
Another possibility is the mind fucking, men go through to become soldiers. You are basically turned into a machine. Women tend to want to know more about WHY they are doing something. Thats not a good trait to have in today?s army. Plus its immoral to make a woman a machine. Men are already machine like in adulthood, while to do that to a woman would take away from her femininity.
Of course perhaps it has nothing to do with women, but the problem lies itself with the darker side of some men. While in war some American soldier s have raped women, what is to stop them form raping a female soldier on their own side? I mean, rape is rape, and a female is a female. Maybe the higher ups are protecting their daughters from our own army in saying they can't fight, or protecting them from those who would violated them on the other side.
Don't get me wrong, I think women should be able to fight. Im just throughing that out there because everyone was being way to agreeable.
I'm all for females fighting on the front lines, as long as they want to do it. It could go a long way towards true equality in the U.S.
Equality will NEVER be achieved. People are just too racist/sexist.

:D After rereading that, I realized it's pretty hard to understand..Oh well.
