I bought some used games in gamestop the other day and renewed by sub to GI. January's has a preview of Wario World. This game has serious potential; it's being developed by Treasure, it's a Nintendo franchise game, ummmm... It has fixed camera angles!?!? What the hell? I'm either really intrigued or really skeptical or both now. Ug.

Yes, I'm quite curious about this one too, I mean, it is Treasure after all.
Play did a preview for it in their last issue and Dave seemed pretty pumped about it after getting to play it (take that for what you will).
I don't like Treasure's platformers, so I'm not expecting much. I just hope it's better than Mario Sunshine.
I'm interested, but so far the videos have shown some really boring ass gameplay. Looks like the game will revolve (no pun intended) around the swing-the-enemy-in-circles-by-the-tail-then-throw-him mechanic like you did with Bowser in Mario 64.
The game looks interesting, but interesting enough to warrant my $50. Hopefully that tune will change though, since some of the concepts in it, like the swing-by-the-tail gameplay could be kind of fun to see in exection.

I'm skeptical about Treasure's involvement in this game. I'm also wary that the game is coming outso soon, and we've not seen an update since it was unveiled. Butnonetheless I'm a Wario junkie, so I'm really anticipating this one.
I am interested in this game, but it looks kinda odd. The enemys look so crappy, just solid color with no texture or detail. The backgrounds look pretty nice, but also pretty empty. Also there is very little information on what you do in the game or how it plays, so who knows.
I think it looks terrible but then I never did like the Wario series of games.
I had fun with it. I just kept kicking things' asses. There wasn't much else to do, though.
