Arjue - Very disturbing pic from one of my favorite shows. It's also a high quality pic. It's too creepy to get a perfect score. 4/5

Mike - The image works with your tag, but otherwise it's ho-hum. 3/5

dave is ok - Good use of game sprite. The play on your name with the tag is a nice touch. 4/5

DougDaBroadcasta - What the guy is saying is funny, but the picture is boring. Also border it. 2/5

Genki - Nothing spectacular about the Protoman pic from Card Fighters. The purple border around it doesn't look either. 2/5

Mr-K - Not a bad pic, but I'd try to move the 'Evil Dead' text a couple of pixels away from the left margin. Also border it. 3/5

Robotron - Fire animation is okay. I know it took some work to do to have fire flicker affect Tera, but I'm not digging it. In fact, I hate Terra standing there in her awful character design. The avatar would probably be better with just Slade. 3/5

Its actually 2pxwhite/2pxblack, but that was purty accurate. I agree that alot of avs look bad when not bordered and bleeds through the page. Oh well.

GJ...I came up with this. I was doing Google searches to find an animated gif or something to work with, but found none. Heres an idea I played around with. If you want another pic used or a diff idea implemented, just let me know. :sweat:

I just want what I ahve now, except on my avatar I don't want opaque to dissapear forever, I want it to be there, go away, return and so on.

On My signature I was hoping you could put the line "I'd rather be here than anywhere with you" and have it do the same dissapearing then reapering thing.

Originally thats how the avatar was designed, but there is only so much you can do with 32k limit of avatar space.

After I broke it down in paint shop, the Splinter cell animation in Daves sig was a whopping 130k...just by itself. I had to cut frames, reduce dither and colors just to get that tiny bit of animation in there. Text on the other hand uses up much less space...so thats what I focussed on...the lesser of 2 evils.

If TNL allowed us to host out own avs (like they do sigs) without limits (which does not use up as much site bandwidth) I could have included the entire animation.

I guess what I'm trying to say is its not Dave's fault that his av is not perfect...but it is mine, and the the TNL av limit restriction.

I'm trying to remember where I read that Porkins crashed because he had deactivated artificial gravity in his cockpit (because he was so fat), which made it harder to get a good "feel" for the ship while flying.
