Furthermore, a detailed and dedicated combo system is being implemented into Spikeout Extreme, making the game more appealing to traditional 3D fighting fans.
Nice call there. SpikeOut sales +0

For those who don't know, Spikeout was an arcade game by Sega that was apparently similar to Street of Rage (though I haven't played it).
Aside from both being beat 'em ups, it's nothing like Streets of Rage. It's also like 4 or 5 years old, so I hope the re-did the graphics or it won't look like much on Xbox.
But still, those play modes sound great. I'm really curious to see what they do with it - it sounds almost like an online modern-day Dynasty Warriors. I hope they put as much care into those parts as DW, rather than just wave after wave of guys coming at you.
Any word on Spike Out X-treme?
The first best chance at me buying an X-Box is Spike Out X-Treme. The next is Halo 2.
In the meanwhile I'm missing out on CvS2 Online action.
Aside from the fact that I've been dying to play this game for ages (and unwilling to shell out a grand for Spikers Battle), I really want this game.
All I've seen is 'announced' notices. No one has anything close to specifics.
Hell, check out GameSpots thorough coverage:
"Sega will be bringing its online arcade beat-'em up to the Xbox."
That right there is journalistic gold. The entire article.
So what's the dilly?
