If Bush hasn't taken care of the economy or (possibly and) taken care of Iraq, then he's got a very real shot of losing the election. Remember what happened to Bush Sr. when the economy was in the doldrums?
The Dems will probably try to repeat the Clinton-over-Bush-Sr. victory style by running Edwards...I think that's a bad move, as even Bush will be able to outdebate Edwards. Lieberman's a better candidate, a better style of moderate, and he's strong in all the areas where Bush is weak.

I also HIGHLY doubt that a Jewish president will be put in office with the problems that are going on in the mid east...
Lieberman's never been for censorship - he's worked for labelling on media and perhaps for some self-restraint on the part of the entertainment companies. That's all.
As far as his Judaism goes, I don't think most people think about it. A great majority of the people who are concerned about it are either 1.) Jews (who will almost all vote for him) and 2.) Conservative Christians (who will vote for him in huge numbers).

And I always took Liebermans actions as not common sense and down the middle but more like BIG government telling you and I what we can and cannot do.
