Star Wars Galaxies Collector's Edition

Anarchy Online didn't have a free month. They just included the price of the first month with the price of the original game. Alot of people didn't even realize that they had paid while they were online.

DAOC is the best MMORPG out there, IMO. I think Shadowbane has alot of potential with the PvPing issues, but the fact still remains that pressing P or Q on the keyboard and watching a meaningless blow for blow battle take place isn't what I call good gaming. I enjoy pressing the buttons, pulling off combos and tactics, etc.

I love DAoC - I'd play it more if I didn't anticipate Shadowbane so much for the small reason of TEAM WORK being such an integral part of the game. I can't think of too many MMPOGs that have good combat to them. No, I don't think DAoC has really good combat (passable at best).

Ya I know, all do it. I'm just not a big fan of that convention altogether.

If the game is enthralling enough (DAoC had amazing maps, IMO and environments) then I'll give it a go. I had a character called Odil and I was very high on some guild. I went to Florida on vacation, telling them I'd be back in two weeks and never returned, lol.

P.s. I wanted the name Odin but it was taken! Odil did sound stupid.

I don't know how the battles work in SWG, but the Star Wars universe you can explore is more than enough for me to purchase the game.

Yeah. I know the controls are dumbed down for mainstreamers (and apparently for success which most MMORPGs have) but damn... Like I said above, exploring the Star Wars universe itself will probably be enough for me. I'm not planning on being a Jedi, I'm planning on being a bounty hunter to kill Jedis.

I doubt either will happen as I don't have the time to put 100's of hours into a character.
