btw best SNK fighters are IMO KOF2002 (better than KOF98 which is too grappler friendly), Samurai Spirits 3, RBS, FFS and KOF2000 (broken striker madness; fun).
I like Chun-Li in 3rd Strike. Her animation is the best in the game.
Don't you thinkn you're taking your dislike of this game a little overboard? I mean, don't get me wrong, I applaud you for it - I do it myself all the time (Tekken is the worst game ever made! Die!!), but you can't say it doesn't play well, whatever small complaints you may have about the engine.Quote:

I think the person who started this thread must be a bit bewildered because he unwittingly started a slanging match between MOTW and SFIII, or more specifically, between parrying and just defense, or a debate on the quality of SFIIIs lineup. Some would say it's inevitable that a MOTW thread will involve SFIII but it's still a bit disappointing that we keep on arguing about the same stuff.
So yes, as stated in the thread's title, MOTW is a great game.
By the way, I don't know why Guile is so calm in that cartoon. Chun-Li's tap-the-button kicks take energy when you block. Eventually he'll lose the round. Wake up, Guile!

I don't see why you need to quote me to death, I find those 5 games play the best simple as that. SS2 is way overrated btw.

OMG, not this again. Chun-Li's animation is very good, sometimes, but as an animator, I can whole-heartedly state that it is not the best in the game. In fact, the odd poor animation that pops up here and there in that game really baffles me, as they spent so much time in general to get it to look smooth.Quote:

OT, MotW is really good, but definately not the paragon of 2D fighter goodness. JD seems like a poor man's parry, and the game overall feels a little loose to me. Some interesting characters, though, and just about everyone's competitive.
