All that happened is somebody messed with the game's code, reburned the game with different items in the stores, etc. Those pics aren't of online play (the shop one at least). There are people who played the Japanese version and used their Japanese save file in the American game too

The X-Box PSO was hacked early in the Japanese version release. Though, the servers are safe, nobody is doing anything but either using hacked software to change their save files, or changing their save files directly. That is the cost of saving character data user-side. Other than that there hasn't been any "hacking".
And as far as it being too damn "easy", no, its not. Using a gameshark and cheating all over the place like on DC was easy, this took work and know how. Nobody is cheating without a modded Xbox and knowledge of how to hack save files and game ROMs.
So much for "easy".
PS: Nobody ever said anybody would have a hard time hacking a save file...

OK, maybe I won't be good to go. The cable guy switched out our old cable modem because it was taking too long to "Sync Up" (bastard) so now I have this lightweight POS modem that even when I'm directly connected into the modem, wont let me play PSO :mad: It gives me some DNS error thing that I can't seem to remedy at the moment since I cant find my Windows 98 disk for my PC, so I tried hooking it up through the router, still no luck, same error, so I tried the same thing, now my PC is stuck with some phony balonie IP addy that I cant seem to release or renew, which sucks.
*sigh* hopefully I can ask my A+ Certification class teacher if he knows a quick fix for it, and then I may be good to go, my god I'm in a withdrawl like no other with no PSO, I'm sleeping at night, I'm eating ok, and I've actually seen my family the past 7 days (scary thought, I know, but hey).
Oh yeah, I'm at school typing this if anyone cares :( Normal Mode Dark Falz is now my bitch, but 1P mode is so boring I couldn't do 1P Hard forest, I was falling asleep :(
BTW Hayato and Radiant (or anyone else for that matter): How far ahead of me are you guys? I hit level 84 yesterday (fucking 4 exp normal enemies)

No game is 100% cheat free, and anybody that says otherwise is a moron. Now online cheating, that is something that something can be done about, but in some cases *cough*dreamcastpso*cough* they don't want to spend the money to fix it.
Hell, they fixed problems with the Japanese GC PSO by sending out and selling new discs.

It was just a pure 9 hours of work. I did very little expect Focus onto getting in the ruins then i just beat Falz at level 19 and jumped into hard mode.

Actually my friend that wasn't why Sega did it.
What they originally had with Version 1.0 of PSO was a problem with the BBA which caused connection problems to being able to get online.
Version 1.1 was released in japan correcting this problem and the Version we got here in the US is pretty much the same thing.:noob:

Stupid me thinking my section ID would change I renamed my force to Sakura (which is also the name of my 2nd character...) thinking I would get a pinkal ID change.
Now i have two identically named characters, one yellowboze and one pinkall...

Found Stag Cuttlery, can't use it since I'm a female hunter. Joined game, said I had a double saber and stag for trade, 2 of the people were begging me for them, I asked what they had, neither had anything that was too special, but then one offered this "rare" mag, which turned out to be a Nidra or whatever the scorpion one is, he traded me that straight up for the Stag, woohoo! Super deal for me.
Transport to later that day, I hop in a lobby and some guy by the name of "TRADER FRED" starts yapping about wanting to trade people, I enter the room, he gives this whole shpiel about how this is a character he uses to trade for stuff for him, his brother and his friend that all use the same Xbox. Something is fishy, but hey, I'll see what he's got.
Holy. Shit. He puts almost every rare weapon and mag imaginable into a trade window, Opa opa, Chao, Chu chu mags, all that good stuff. I asked what he wanted and he said he would trade me the Opa for the Nidra mag, since he's "collecting" rare mags and he doesnt have mine yet.
Faster than he could finish the sentence I agreed to trade. BAM! I had myself an Opa Opa mag, I was happy as all hell, hacked, duped, I didn't care, I had an Opa Opa mag and it fucking ruled.
Oh yeah, that Meteor Crudgel is badass, even with the Opa, its damage is kinda weak, but its a 7 hit weapon so its not so bad :)
Bonus - I was 112, Hayato was like 133, Smoke was 112 as well and I forget what astral was. That fight was a fucking bitch and a half, especially since I kept getting turned into that gay FOmar thing.
I am now level 80 and looking forward to some Ultimate-style ass kickings.

The only FSOD I've gotten on XBOX was on my first day.
I had to quit playing the GC version because I got something like 6 FSODs in the first month of play, and it was driving me insane.
I guess it just varies from person to person.

Fuck, PKers officially exist. I just got killed by one. I started a battle game, then headed down to the planet to wait for the other guys. Then this fool comes and says "I'm gonna come down and kick your asses" so I thought he was talking about battling, but instead he swings his Flowen's and knocks us both out. I don't see the point since you can't take any weapons like in DC.
Also, I dunno if it's my XBox that's fucked or what, I just had my game stall on me TWICE today. The both stopped at the transition screen with the rings and refused to load further, then I lost all my unequipped weapons.
I can see why you might think that. but in battle mode you can kill eachother in the forest and in the different area's. it's just the way battle mode is.
Really....my bad. I never played Battle much, but I thought you couldn't from the DC version. Thanks for clearing that up.

woo,finally hit lev 80 with my fo. i also have a hucaseal who is lev 24, so i will look for you guys tommorow. maybe we can get a group going. its funny going from a hucast to a fo,like i did in dc v1. you tend to rush in a bit more than is prudent.
