I smell a conspiracy a'brewin...
:chick:
News today deserves more criticism. When I first heard, someone told me the Challenger exploded. I thought someone was really stuck in the 80s. I asked them why it took 17 years for them to get the information. Soon after, a radio was found, and I heard about the Columbia.

That's what they get for fucking with Einstein.
Well shit, my mother wasn't full of crap. She told me that they said that while I was doing something the other day. I told her that there is no way in hell it did that, because 1. todays physics says that its impossable to go faster than light, let alone 18X it. and 2. they would have never crashed becasue once you start going faster than light you A. reach infinte Mass, and/or B. you start going back in time.
Thats really fucking fast.Quote:
How could they even see it at that speed lol!
That's suppose to be 'sound' 'course.
I sort of wish it had been going 18x the speed of light. Then they would have went in the past and still be alive.
Sounds like a bad anime, "watch as our brave heros travels space and time in the spaceship, Columbia" "well they ever make it back home"
Stupid CNN
You sir, are incorrect. That's a common misconception of Einstein's theory, it doesn't state that you will go back in time, but rather; as you go faster, the PERCEPTION of time slows, stops, and reverses.Quote:

Upon reaching the speed of light, the light that is hitting your eye is going at the same speed, making everything appear to not move.
And after breaking the speed of light (Which is impossible; since you can't move or accelerate the inifinite mass) you are theoretically seeing light that has already passed you, so it looks as though something has happened in the past.
Um..yeah.. :noob:
thats what I get for reading books on the subject
