Moving is for suckers.
I spent 3 days moving everything and cleaning the old apartment. Spent 3 days unpacking at the new place. Here I am today, going through setting up my home theater all over again. I can proudly say that after 8 hours, my HT is over 50% wired.
This is just a public service announcement to inform you that you should pick one place that you like and live there until you're dead. :o

I agree, moving sucks. That's why after moving about six times, I bought a house and never plan on moving again. Its nice to have a place to store your useless crap.

I hate moving with a passion, I've done it so much that I can't even think of a place to move to that I haven't already been. I still haven't move out of my boxes in my apartment of 5 months and already Rachel is talking about moving.

I'm that sort of lazzy that if I had to move a lot, I'd just quit buying things.
"hmm, that is a nice bed, but man moving it would be a bitch. Fuck that"
-
I'm moving into a new apartment in 3 days. Needless to say, being a game collector makes moving a bitch.

I don't see myself planning to move for at least another 2 years (I hope), but I suppose after I get done with my car payments, I'll be looking at a place to settle after I decided on what job career I can land.
Having people in the next apartment sucks camel balls. I can't even have my sub-woofer playing...:(

part of me likes moving and the other part of me doesn't. on one hand, i love the feeling of a new place, the various ways you can decorate, and the new people you're going to meet. on the other hand, you grow accustom to the old place and don't wanna leave it. as for the actual moving stuff itself, i think it's kinda fun.

Beware of friends with hide-a-bed couches. Them things are the devil to move and usually your friend will get a fourth floor apartment that you'll have to lug it up to.

Moving to CT was definitely an adjustment...and it wasn't fun because I had to do it twice (wasn't officially in my own apt until after I found a place living in Norwich for 1.5 months and not being employed at first). Though I can't say I have any major regrets...I love my new place - more room, great furnishings. It's too good! (unit: Heh, the place here is pretty good when it comes to acoustics, bring your stereo here!) :D The best thing about it is - from the time that I moved from NY to Norwich and then moving again; I was able to get rid of a LOT of useless junk that I had collected over the years.
(drat, I still have my old GameFan and other various gaming mags back at my old crib). O_O

Sometimes you don't have a choice, I moved probably 5 times in my life and it sucks especially when you make good friends and then have to move away :(
-
I'm enlisted, so you know what that means.......
Thank God I haven't had to move yet. *wipes brow* I wouldn't mind being right where I am for a good while. :)

I love moving. Good opportunity to dump a shitload of possessions. Living in a nearly empty and unfamiliar place is great fun too.
