Castlevania PS2 comfirmation?

Ok, let's follow the trail. I'm pointing you to Gamesarefun, who's pointing you to Castlevania Dungeon, who got it from PSM. News doesn't get worn out in the hand-me-down process, does it?

Contra-style Castlevania. I can live with that so long as they go absolutely nuts in the detailing. Castlevania needs to be gorgeous as well as packed full of weird goodies. Weird goodies like the peanuts from SotN you could only eat by pushing up to catch them in your mouth, or the little heart over the bat familiar when you changed into a bat yourself.

Anticipating? Why yes, yes I am. :)

I'll believe it when I see it. It would be nice to have another castlevania with cd-quality music.

Don't raise my heart rate like that without concrete evidence :(

This Castlevania better be a whole lot better than Shattered Soldier.

It's a little hard to compare Contra to Castlevania, isn't it? :wtf:

Let me rephrase. The new Castlevania better be a more worthy addition to its lineage than Shattered Soldier was to the Contra series.

Show me some Proof pictures, then I'll believe.

I wouldn't mind seeing a fast-paced Castlevania game. Here's to hoping it comes to pass.
