Hey, Burg! Long time no see, or some other such pleasentries.
Kino, if you think the sniper kicks ass now, she has a bow called the twinbow(or something twinnish) which is a double arrow barrage, she is hitting hard now. I also wanted to say how much i am liking the elementalist, their status/damage strikes hit hard and have some nasty resultsQuote:

I just saw a hunter use the Sonic Boom ability which looks totally awesome too, so I might need to level another character to try that out.
Just hit 26 hours last night, woo.
Nice avatar btw 'veg.
Thanks. It's curtousy of sggg. :D

I'll work on getting everything for everyone that I should....I think it will help me out. Right now my "main" party is:
Marche (Fighter)
Montblanc (Time mage currently, with lotsa Black Mage abilities)
Viana(Fencer, she's totally strong, she usually does about 80+ damage and i think she's only about lv5...)
Mallory (white mage, she's fast and good at what she does)
Clay (this guy's mah boy, he's an awesome ninja!!)
Kilov (his a Bangaa I'm still rounding out some)
And i'm trying to train up a blue mage and somehow trying to fit a no mou in there. I don't really use them too much still, but I don't want my game to suffer from not using one =X
Kidnemo- ahaaaaaaa...........actually, now that I'm playing more and more FFT, Marche seems less and less like the typical FF guy. At first he was just 'oh wow, i dont know what happened but I guess I'm here now.....' and then he progressed into a really cool, in depth little dude. I really like him a lot!
ps- Does anyone have a pic of Ritz I could maybe use for an avatar? I can't find one anywhere =X
Archers and Hunters are both surprisingly good. The only problem with Archers is that they can't use the better bows, and the Hunters have a few abilities that are only useful against monsters. A Hunter with Aim equipped is pretty useful, but I really think that Snipers and Gunners are both better. Gunners do more damage and have much better range, while the Sniper has more damaging attacks (actually I like to give my assassin a bow and Sharpshoot ability). I guess having a human without Two Swords just seems kind of wasteful to me.
Wow.
I died in a mission for the first time.
I had all of my main party members out on dispatch missions, so I was just walking around the map waiting for them all to get back when, *bam* a two-part story battled was triggered by walking over one of the towns.
I beat the first mission, but lost on the second one. Wacky.
Well, it seems like I'm approaching the end of the game, and I'm just now starting to get some cool equipment (Reflex, Double-Sword, etc.). I feel a bit cheated, since I'm not sure how much longer I can play to use all this stuff before it's over.
After looking at the classes and races when first getting the game, I decided to focus almost entirely on Viera bunny-chicks (must be some deep-routed subconscious furry-love combined with cool outfits). They're much more ninja than actual ninja (Conceal plus Last Breath is a thing of utter beauty). Obviously you switch classes constantly in this game, but my general "army":
Assassin w/ Spirit Magic
Sniper w/ Aim
Fencer w/ Spirit Magic
Summoner w/ White Magic
Archer w/ Sharpshoot
Red Mage w/ suckiness (still haven't found too many Red Mage items, and I think I missed the chance to get the secret one with double-magic pre-learned)
Marche is a ninja/fighter/paladin, double-equipping swords and blazing through the ninja skills (since you can learn twice as much).
Montblanc is a gunner/juggler...just recenlty found the item to steal jp so he might be going back to thief though.
My only Nu Mou worth anything is a black/white/time mage named Azimov. Nice.
Only Bangaa worth anything is a Dragoon/monk. Not very good compared to most. I don't like how some of his skills cancel each other out since they need certain weapons...he just doesn't fit well into my team of almost all range/status fighters, with Marche to just stomp around 1-hit killing everything. Besides, Marche likes his harem of bunny-chicks and his moogle sidekick.
Anyone played with the link yet? I still haven't had a chance to, and none of the pubs will restock their "trade" option.
I hate when they pull that BS. What's worse are some of the multi-fights that don't let you re-equip/skill Marche, when he's the only one you can use. -AND, only he gets the AP for the fight then, even though the previous fight used your whole team (and wasn't just one of those transition win-even-if-you-lose fights).Quote:

But my Red Mage surely hasn't done much to impress me so far. Might just change her to an assasin and say the heck with it.
Theives seem to be alot more usefull combat-wise in FFTA also.
