Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (Lets just call this official)

the mog knight class is almost completely useless for me. the ultra-super-cool ULTIMA CHARGE only does like 70 dmg with my best mog. maybe it would help if you kept them in a combat class for a dozen or so levels..

the best combination for mogs is either a thief or gunner with juggler skills.

I love the human archer > hunter tree, but not nearly as much as the viera archer > sniper > assasin tree.

Between those three classes you can build such a badass viera it's not even funny. The hunter might be able to deal out a bit more damager with sonic boom and a couple other abilities, but the between the archer aim abilities (aim arm), and assasin abilities (rockseal, nightmare, lastbreath), which all virtually stop a target in one turn, dealing a bit of area damage with the hunter pales in comparison.

rich, in my experience, vieras are perfect as archers. they look a lot cooler, too.)

kidnemo, the only thing my hunter is good for is capturing monsters. i just started playing around with the morpher class, and it's actually pretty interesting. when properly trained, they'll have dozens of abilities.

Now that I'm finished, I'm going to give all the animal-based classes a try. Yea, the morpher looks like one of the cooler animal classes.

Hm, great game I must say. Even my PC-gaming friend who mainly plays FPSs was absorbed for nearly five hours straight. Looking forward to playing this one a lot.

I've been playig for a while (pretty good game), but 80 missions in I haven't gotten many different kinds of characters. No ninjas, hunters, gunners, wwhatever. Am I missing something?

bob, try using different classes and learn a few abilities with them that should trigger different classes. i think the ninjas need theif abilites to trigger, same with moogle gunners.

Check out the guide or www.gamefaqs.com to learn the job tree progression for all the races. Some of the master classes require abilities from two or three other classes to unlock.
