I'm getting it for sure... I have a GBA player only because of this game...
I think I'll be buying this game the day it comes out, even though I don't own a GBA or a GC with a GBA Player. I'm a huge fan of SRPGs/SLGs.
Day one for me no doubt.
In the last five years, I'm not sure there if there is any game I've been more excited about.
Losing the random battles isn't a big deal, unless it seriously inhibits your ability to custimize your characters (ie. not enough battles to gain exp/jp to flesh out your characters).
I'm definately getting this... again, but this time in English ;)
This is one of the reasons I got my GBA GameCube player too, the others would be Fire Emblem and Sword of Mana :)
Nintendo Power is running a bundle on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, I'm thinking about getting it since I'm not currently subscribed to them... unless someone else is running a sweet preorder deal ;)
Nintendo Power
I have been playing Tactics Ogre on my GBA for some time. Anyone know how the two stack up against each other. I believe Atlus did the tactics thig before square.

The battle system in both games are similar, but FFT (and I'm sure FFTA though I haven't played it yet) has more in-depth and controlable job system, which I personally enjoy.Quote:

I really like the clan system in the game. However, the law system is really trite and stupid, and adds nothing to the game. I like the whimsical nature of the game, but those of you are expecting FFT part 2 are going to be dissapointed.
edit: removed run-on senctence.
:( I hope not, but at least there are other SRPGs this summer and fall if FFTA fails to satisfy fans of the genre. Disgaea and Onimusha Tactics, anyone?Quote:

If customizing your units are you favorite parts of strategy rpgs, I wouldn't recommend getting Onimusha tactics or fire emblem. The characters are pretty much set into their specific roles.
