Well I got mine today and played it for about an hour and half. Graphics really surprised me on how well done they are. Pretty much looks like FFT on PSone to me. So many missions, so many options....it boggles my mind. I really prefer these smaller battles compared to the battles in Tactics Ogre. I'll probably actually play all the way through this game for once. One problem I do have right now is my AC adapter for my SP got chucked and I ordered a new one last week and its still not here!!! I gotta play on the normal crappy advance. D'oh. I also noticed there's three options for screen contrast one for GBA, SP, and Cube. Thats pretty cool, wonder what the Cube one does for the tv?
I always like naming crap in games so I thought it was cool to name my main guy Bilbo and my Clan's name is Assholes. Because I'm an Asshole, asshole, a s s olio olio!.
It changes the colors for optimal viewing on each platform.Quote:

How long has it been since you last played FFT on the PS?Quote:

A long time, I'm guessing.
Which one is the gba version?
If you have to ask, you should give up videogames.
The GBA game still looks really well compared to the PSone version. It looks better on the GBA screen than your blown up screen shot.
You have to be fucking kidding me.Quote:

Just played the ole FFTA for an hour and change.
Seems pretty good so far.
Music has the same vibe as the psone version, though the quality isn't anywhere in the same ballpark (despite what some have said).
The new job system seems cool, though it will take a bit of getting used to the new "equip items to gain abilities" gameplay mechanic. Especially after the hundreds of hours I've spent on FFT.
Graphics are nice, with some cute animation for some stuff.
I'm really digging the story so far. It's also nice to have a storyline that doesn't require you playing through multiple times in order to follow all the little side stories n' such. Of course the story will probably pan out a bit further in.
The new moogles look wacky.
