I like the silver casing better than the regular green casing, but seeing "platinum hit" right on the disc is a bit much. Although that silver DOES fit with Spy Hunter.

Wow... That looks a lot better than the standard cases. It's a bit over the top and gaudy.... but it's still a massive improvement over the standard snot green ones.
The name "Platinum Hits" is a bit daft too... it is not as nice as Greatest Hits, All Stars, or even Player's Choice.
It's still nice to see though because it does look nicer and you have to like the reduced price. ;)
I actually kinda like the case. A lot better than fugly green/red strips. PSone and PS2 greatest hits: you can just feel the ass.
weve had empty cases of the p latinum hits for awhile at work
and i like the silver of the cases ALOT Better than the puke green
when were done with them i may take a bunch of them and put my games in them instea of the green ones they are in
PS2 GH is a lot less icky than the PS1 .. like, incalculably. i actually bought the SH2 GH without much of a pang. but then again i don't really understand collectorishness to such an obsessive degree. i also happily have "the best" of some games, as long as i get to play it, bargain prices = rock. imo.
and, oh yeah, i like PH packaging. it's pretty nifty. a pleasant alternative to the neon green, anyway. i'd like to see them just use black DVD cases in general, but ....
I have to say out of all the revised budget packaging (Sony's Red and Green strips of shame ;) ) these platinum hits do look nice. Now only if I could find them. The only one I have seen so far is Oddworld, the rest are just the normal version marked down.

Well, I think Platinum Hits look nice :p Stylish Silver color, is much better choice, than that yacky green, that original boxes had.

That looks 10 times better than the green, which is quite simply the ugliest coloring i've ever seen.
