yeah there's a lot more of it this time around. reminds me of a link to the past. when i started playing, i was being a bit obsessive compulsive by cutting down every bush, tree, and blade of grass i saw. i gave up after 10 minutes. there's just too much of it.Quote:

Agreed.
The fact that they did increase the foliage this time goes a long way to make it seem more convincing me thinks also.
I can't seem to get the Zelda tune out of my head :)
I still remember the day when I bought the very first Zelda, I used to get scared every time those damn hands would chase me in the dungeons :sweat:
I'm at a friend's house right now, and I have to say, this game is freaking amazing. He's at the Forbidden Fortress right now, and that Temple of the Gods had me staring in awe. I can't wait till I get a cube of my own and buy this.
I still don't understand why they had to put it in the same universe as OoT.

I called the guy Nikorasu, since a) he has the same colour hair as me, and b) since I discovered that all the Links are different people, my whole illusion of him being Link was broken. Probably for ever.

The way I see, the reason why there are more than one version of Link is because the "Legend" of Zelda is passed down from generation to generation, and things change along the way, which is not uncommon in oral tradition. This is just the same story, retold by new generation, with things altered to match their world view.Quote:

P.S: I named him Link, because that's his name, I would never alter it, in the same way that I would never change Mario's name, given the chance.
This I did not know. Can someone explain this more thoroughly? I haven't played all of the Zelda games, so maybe I never noticed discontinuity in the storyline, but I assumed it was all connected.Quote:

Wind Waker takes place 100 years after OoT, right?
In the very begining it talks about the hero of time appearing just before all hope was lost and the world was at it's darkest hour, assuming they are talking about Link when he pulls the master sword in the Ocarina of Time and sleeps till that time when he reappears to save the world.
