I was actually suprised at the amount of new types of puzzles in Wind Waker, as well as the new uses for the old weapons. Unless you are expecting a complete overhaul, I don't see what the fuss is about. There are certain aspects that need to be in the game for it to be a Zelda game.
Kinopio... like I said, I dont care for the fact that I can play the game not on intuition or how clever I can think, but because I know past Zelda games. That's all. Is there a "fuss"? I wouldn't say so. This is my opinion, nothing more. The game simply feels too much like old Zelda games to me, and what I am saying is that I (not you, I) think it is getting stale to me.

So how about that talking boat? pretty crazy.
I think the game is awesome so far - the only petty gripe I have with it , is it seems that distant scenery/stuff looks kinda of blurry and less detailed until you get closer to it.. Am I the only one to notice that - I mean I know Link's not supposed to have eagle eyes or anything and I guess that's what Aryll's scope is used for <shrugs> minor gripe at best, I'm enjoying it so far -- got a chuckle out of the uhhh "relationship" between Orca and his brother :lol: -- I look forward to possibly seein em duel it out if Orca keeps practicing those loud fighting techniques

Yeah, well...most people can't see things very well at great distances. I'm pretty sure what you're talking about (Jetman) was done on purpose.

I think the blur adds a nice touch to the "realism," while also giving a visual focus on Link and helping to hide pop-up regarding small pieces of scenery and people.
However, I desperately await the next $30 I get a hold of, because the fact that I played through Metroid Prime and am now most of the way through WW without owning component cables hurts me. Both of these are gorgeous, gorgeous games and require being watched in as good condition as they can be. This S-Video hookup needs to go, it's time for an upgrade.
Speaking of which, the next installment of the Oddworld Quintology will feature a centaur who has an unnatural attraction to his boat. And the game will feature ICO like gameplay revolving around that character dynamic.Quote:
