Looking at this and other cel-shaded games (JSR, Dark Cloud 2, Wild Arms 3, Sly, et al), which do you think conveys the 'animated' look the best? In other cel-shaded games, they look cool and like 2D-3D hybrids, but the models, textures, and animations still felt very 3D. Not that that's bad, but I think Wind Waker is the first game to really convey a hand-drawn feel throughout the entire visual scope.
Am I alone in this?

Just finished this yesterday (I started it a couple weeks late because I was trying to finish Xenosaga). I really enjoyed it, the last sequence was great. The only problems I had were the constant sailing and that fetch quest. Anyway, is anyone else still playing this?

okay i cannot beat the sand worm in the wind temple. i absolutely am having the worst time trying to lock onto that things tongue without locking onto something else oh having him chomp on me first. oh and for some reason i saved right beforehand and opened the warp jar. but i died and now for some reason that little mini-tree partner is still waiting at the boss door and the warp jar at the start just spits me out. i dont think i can get back to the boss door wihout the little tree guy.....or can i?
oh and lucas, press the R trigger while in the boat to jump over the enemies. i was forever getting hit by the sharks and getting pissed before i figured this out.

dyne, kill off the little sharklets then hitting the tongue is easier, plus they drop hearts.

Stupid question of the day: How do I reposition myself on the grapple rope? I am in a room on Dragon Roost Isle, the door is behind me, there's a small alcove across a lava pit in front of me, and the way out is to the right. I can latch onto the "dragon claw" coming out of the wall, but I cannot seem to reposition myself on the rope in order to swing properly to reach the exit.

Hold the right shoulder button. You'll stop swinging and then you can climb up and down the rope. Then release R and push up and then down to start swinging again.

No problem. Since schools been out, I've been working to get this game off my pile of shame. I think I've almost finished it.

Yeah, it's defenitely worth playing through. By far one of the best games I've played recently.
