The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

I am reviving this thread to summon some much-needed help.

***possible SPOILERS below****


I am doing the "fetch quest" right now but I need to give 20 Joy Pendants to the teacher in Windfall Island, but I only have 18 pendants!! Does anybody know where the hell I can find more of these? I know you get them as spoils from Bokoblins but I'll be damned if I can't find any of them to kill. I have no idea where to find any more of these stupid things, and if I can't progress I'm afraid I'll end up never beating this game =(

There are plenty of Bobobkins all over the place. If you really can't find any, go pack to Link's home island and find them in that huge dungeon.

And if you find yourself sucking at a game again, gamefaqs works like a charm, and doesn't waste other posters' time.

Just keep moving though the game, there are a few in the chests in dungeons, that's how I got over 20.

Just go through the endless caves on Outset using your grappling hook to steal them away. I must've had about 80 by the time the game was over. :p

I finally beat Wind Waker tonight.

Looking at it as a total package it's a damn good game, but not as good as either N64 Zelda.

The game is hampered by too much busy work, a ridiculous story towards the end, and lackluster bosses and dungeons.

It started out incredible, but just loses steam after the first 2 or 3 dungeons.

Which is why I stopped playing after I got to the water dungeon thing. Had fun while I was playing tho'.

I stopped playing this game out of frustration with the stealth shit. Maybe I'll give it a whirl sometime soon.

The stealth stuff was only the very first level... I guess you did play much at all.

The stealth stuff was the worst thing in the entire Zelda series. I've never played MGS or Splinter Cell, but if they are anything like that, count me out.

The game got 900X better after that level BTW...

I beat this game last week, and I agree mostly with PBMax. Trying to complete most of the game was a chore (I'm talking about filling in the map, doing the merchant stuff, and the golden feathers/joy pendants). The main quest itself was pretty easy, overall this game felt a lot easier than Zelda 64.

Final battle ended a little too quickly... Zelda 64 did it just right.
