Really? It didn't work for me and some other people here like that...in the demo I played, if you hit square you just slashed the enemy. Here's a quote from the OPM demo thread backing up my claim...Quote:

No, it was like that in the demo too.
I dunno, the controls do feel tightened up for the full release- maybe just hitting square works in the demo, but your timing had to be exactly precice or it wouldn't work.Quote:

I thought that was just me too. It kind of sucks you have to run, then slow down to get into stealth mode to do a stealth kill but it's all good, at least you can still do that awesome 'off the roof down to their skull' kill. :D
Yeah, that sounds right. Thanks!Quote:

I'm convinced.
*runs out to EB*
When is the import version of this released?
Goddamned JPS2.
I just spent the past hour or so playing this at a friend's house. Goddamn.
Indeed it is.Quote:

Oh, the sour times...
Finished both Rikimaru's & Ayame's missions. Happy to say that I decimated Uncle Tenrai both times with the Almighty-Wrath-of-Heaven-I-Just-Impaled-You-Dude-Move. The storyline, if you just play through as a single character and leave it there, is weak. However, while they may not be correctly linked or entirely relevant to each other, the entire storyline with all three characters is solid.
The game is also keeping me on my guard. I might know the layout of a level, but then they make me fight a boss at the beginning, or I have to escape the huge death trap of a level in under twenty minutes or that Koga Oni wasn't around that corner before, I swear!
Special Note To Fans of Cam Clarke: He is apart of the cast. I was confused when I saw him in the credits the first time. How could I miss Leonardo/Liquid Snake/Ryudo, of all people? That is because he plays Tesshu, the new third character that is revealed halfway through Ayame's missions and is playable after beating the game with Riki/Aya. While the rest of the English cast pretty much said, "Forget it. I can't do a Japanese accent", Cam Clarke is all like "I'm doing my off-the-wall Japanese accent, and you are going to like it!” and we do.
Tesshu does not use swords, but instead kills with spikes running out of his hands. You get to see an x-ray vision of spikes in skulls, hands inside rib cages and best of all, the heart clenched and ripped out of the chest. When you realize that you are a professional killer with real motives (getting paid, pride, getting paid) and not some oddball thrown into some meaningless “Kombat” game, it makes it all the sweeter.
The Azuma Ninja have released a statement to me which they want me to read to you all:
We Azuma Ninja wish to apologise to the family of the first guard in the castle multiplayer mode. Everytime he departed he had such wonderfull things to say about Ninja such as:
Man, I wish my wife was
NINJA!
hack, gurgle *die*
I wish I had a
NINJA!
hack, gurgle *die*
Greatest tragedy of all, at one point his last words were:
Man I love
NINJA!
hack, gurgle *die*
We Azuma Ninja have always stood for right and justice (Except that one time. Stupid brainwashed Tatsumaru), and we have never ever felt remorse for the wicked.
However this one time, we seemed to have killed a realy decent guy. The Ninja in question will commit ritualistic Seppuku
with a frisbee. Once again we apologise for the Tragic loss. Our hearts go out to the family.
did you get her solo album?? its called out of season. its wonderful!Quote:

this might be a bit of a spoiler, but onikage from tenchu 1 owns onikage in T3... he just sucks in t3..
and in Tenchu 1, his voice acting was great, as was his theme music.
Eh, the up, down, left, right, XXX code, when entered at the title screen, simply opens up the OPM demo, this time with blood and English voice acting. Nothing special happens when you beat it, you just end up back at the title screen.
