EDIT: nevermind.
Just 3 more days till the Ninajs are out for blood :p
To get original Tenchu is pretty cool, especially for people who never played it. But I would have loved to have soundtrack instead :)
I'm gonna cop that shit yo.Quote:

I'm guessing you didn't do the move where you stick your sword through the right side of the person's body, and then spin around them so that the sword spun in a circle within the person's body. Or had jumped off a roof onto a person's shoulders and then stabbed the sword through the top of the skull.Quote:

Rolling is done by holding the stealth button and then pushing jump. It's much more intuitive and leads to less "roll off the roof" problems. I'm not sure what you mean by dashing, but the "long jump" is still in the game. You push jump twice, instead of forward twice. Also, much more intuitive. Side jumping is done by locking on to an enemy with the lock-on button. It then controls like Zelda.
I agree with you on the deathmatch issue. It seems tacked on but the actual game got an 8 in GMR magazine. I'm actually starting to dig GMR magazine. It doesn't seem to be sucking on big industry's tip as much as EGM even though its the sister mag.Quote:

Now, I need a JPS2 release date...
Regardless, I am psyched for this game far more than Zelda or anything else coming out this month
Yeah, give it a chance. The demo didn't really have anything in it. It was basically one room.Quote:

the controls are absolutely unweildy (sp?), and the while i thought the camera in tenchu 1 was fine, this one's a pain in the ass..
i'll give it a second chance through a rental though.
Is there a way to run? I thought I seen that you could run on some other board but I dont know how to do it. Anyone know?
i must have missed a few things but i couldn't figure out the controls for anything... tenchu 1's just seemed to make so much more sense..
by "stealth moves" i didn't mean stealth kills.. i meant rolling around and stuff.. sorry to confuse.
the entire demo was me fighting with the controls and the camera, and then laughing at the stupidity of the guards when i could actually point the damn camera at them..
i'll give it another shot later.
just a few more days! YIPPIE! I need a good offline game. Too many online games lately for me.
Shit, those sound nice. I didn't come across them in the demo...I gotta experiment some more. What angle do you have to hit them from to get the spin kill? And whenever I try a off the roof stealth kill all I do is just come down on them with the sword- I never get a stealth kill animation (the enemy still dies, however). What's the trick? I have done the sword through the top of the skull kill, but only as a normal stealth kill.Quote:

IGN's editors are answering questions about Tenchu 3 on their message boards...check it out. There's some good info about the game there.

I'm gonna go spread the word about that Circuit City deal.
If this game rekindles Tenchu one's magic, then ill have my reason to buy a PS2.
Eagerly awaiting your impressions...
