You easily got the better deal. You can always shop for something big with his expiring contract if things don't work out. Tim Thomas is your mistake.Quote:

What's funny is now I have 5 bucks on my Yahoo! fantasy team. Payton, Mason, cassell, Redd, and Thomas. Gotta drop them.
Gary Payton was a great fit for the Bucks...three years ago...
The Bucks best player is now 34 years old...if they don't get to the finals this year or next year the trade is a bust. IF they can actully play as a team they'd have a chance; but Cassell is already pissed off all the time, and this will more than likely only screw up the chemistry more. If only they could have traded Cassell for Payton...
It was a great trade for Seattle; Payton was going to leave anyway, and now they got a top level player in return.
Then again, Allen could turn into the next Vin Baker.:lol: :noob:

anyway, I doubt milwakee is going to sign him at the end of the year. I bet they will just let his salary go for some cap space.
