My goodwill sucks.
I hate my goodwill.
Hmm... I wonder if there's a Goodwill near me.
Do they have a website?

After I moved here to Vegas last month, swung by the Goodwill off campus.
They had a complete and mint X-Box remote kit for $21. I had a 1/2 off coupon I got off of campus, and got it for $10.50 flat. Not too shabby considering that's about 1/3 what it goes for in stores :)
I should stop by again, mebbe they've restocked with more goodies in the last month.
I've gotten dozens of awesome deals at Goodwill. Some of my favourites:
Supergrafx system with 4 games + joystick: around $25 Canadian
White PCE deck w'2 pads + tap: $15 C
Famicom system with a couple of converters: $10 C
Turbo Duo (broken, but traded it in for a replacement): $15 C
MIB Atari 2600 w'2 carts: $5 US
Final Fantasy 3 (loose): $1.50 US
Brand new SNES2 set: $20 US
27" RGB monitor: $10 C
4 new copies of Famicom Rainbow Islands: $1 each
Needless to say, that first one almost gave me a heart attack when I saw it! It helps when you like in a neighbourhood with lots of Asian immigrants.

I used to go to Goodwill all the time to look for games. Most of the time I wouldn't find anything.
Then there would be good days; like when I scored a complete Turbo Grafx 16 for $2.99.
I've gotten a bunch of Saturn, Genesis, and NES games there also; as well as a few assorted controllers.
There's nothing like the smell of old clothes and urine to add that extra "dimension" to 16-bit gaming.
I'll reiterate Melf's first post:
What the hell is Goodwill?
Goodwill Industries runs a chain of stores. The profits from their retail operations benefit charity.
There is a goodwill near everbody.Quote:
