Outside of Zelda, I don't have any major wants. Halfway tempted to go back and grab Xenosaga, but chances are I'll buy a GBA SP before that. So...
Clock Tower 3 (PS2)
Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb (PC)
I will also get a GBA SP unless I break down for an import before that.
Xenosaga.
I've got to keep my lists short for a while.
zelda, tenchu, xeno, and pso xbox if the push-back rumors are true...
Eh, the old thread got pushed back more than a few pages, so this revival of the concept is passable.
Regardless, this one is the same concept, same month: http://www.the-nextlevel.com/board/s...threadid=15514
D'oh!
hmm zelda Auto Modellista hmmmm april has some good stuff
Ikaruga, and FF Origins
Xenosaga and Zelda. That's all I'll need for awhile.
Zelda: WW
Zone of Enders: 2nd Runner
PSO (XBOX)
Tenchu 3
Xenosaga
On the fence:
Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (XBOX)
Tao Feng: FotL
Dynasty Warriors 4
Yeah, I want ZoE2 as well, but that can wait.
Hmmm... lots of stuff to buy, but I'll limit this to March releases only.
Zelda:WW
Xenosaga
And that should be about it, at least until Ikaruga and Wario World are released.
Xenosaga
What else do I need?
zelda.. gbsp..
i tought ikuraga came out in april..
zelda and psox. possibly xenosaga.
Zelda and Def Jam Vendetta are the only things in March that I want. Which is good, since I've still got my November wishlist to finish.
Xenosaga is released next week (February). :D
Outside of Zelda, I'm picking up MvC2 so long as it has Live.
I will be getting:
-Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
-Pokemon Sapphire
-Gameboy Advanced: SP
-Xenosaga (I can't get it this week)
and MAYBE
-Soul Calibur 2
Ok, Here is my list:
Primal (PS2)
ZOE2 (PS2)
Tenchu 3 (PS2)
These 3 should keep me busy for a while :p
Phantasy Star Online
World Series Baseball 2K3
Zone of the Enders 2
Zelda: Wind Waker
.. and a Gameboy SP.
April 16th according to IGN and Gamestop.Quote:

All I'm getting in March is Zelda.
Note: If you want to import any of the new GC titles, the "Freeloader" is out now.
Yeah, I always do one in the middle of the previous month. Been doing it for at least 6 months now.Quote:

Soul Calibur 2 (Xbox) and Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution (PS2).
Heh, I thought you were only going to buy one game this year? I guess that was an impossible dream...Quote:

Anyway, since I'll have Xenosaga before february's out, here's what I'm getting in March:
Kessen II - Saw it cheap somewhere, but I can't justify buying to myself it for another week.
Zone of the Enders 2 - Yeah! Can't wait.
Zelda: Wind Waker - playing the OoT disc has me itching to play one of these games in 3D with bgm more than 3 bars long.
March is going to be a slower month for me. Since I have my new comp I'm limiting my purchases, I already have wwaaaaaayyyy too many PC games to play. Right now I'm just looking at:
Zelda
Megaman & Bass
Soul Calibur 2 GC (SC2 Joystick as well if we can get them)
GC Gameboy Player
GC Hori Pads
Lost Vikings GBA
and maybe Clock Tower 3.
Your 1 month list is almost as big as my whole year list. :(
The only must-buy (more like already pre-ordered) for me this month is Zelda. Xenosaga, Indiana Jones, and ZoE2 look cool as well, but I'll probably wait on those because I'm trying to finish all my next-gen games before Zelda hits.
Probably only the Ikaruga replay disc, april on the other hand
Bought it yesterday and I think its crap, can any one recommend a good strategy game for me? (I've only played Kessen and Ring of Red, keep in mind that I only own a PS2).Quote:

I was thinking of picking up Dynasty Tactics, it seems that most people was generally pleased with it.
XII Stag (JPS2, on preorder)
GBA SP Cobalt
That's it for now...
Soul Calibur 2 (PS2)
Z.O.E. 2
Soul Calibur 2 Gamecube import
- ZOE 2
- Zelda
- GBA/GC Player
- Indiana Jones (Xbox)
- PSO (if it makes it)
I just bought a house so my cash is kind of limited.
I'd like to get
Zelda: Wind Waker
Zone of Enders: 2nd Runner
Tenchu 3
Xenosaga
Primal
Def Jam Vendetta
GBA SP
But I'll probably try to narrow it down to Zelda, Xenosaga and ZOE 2.
This is pretty much my list minus SP. I'm picking that up in the Summer and Primal because I don't know what that is. I also want Dark Cloud 2 but that's technically February and I probably will pass on it.Quote:

By the way I think Nintendo was smart to release the bonus discs. Not because they were like 0.01 or whatever. But because they make me remember just how awesome the OOT really is. The sound effects... man. It brings back to me why I believe this game deserves every bit of credit it has recieved over the years.
Now I want Wind Waker
Yeah SP isn't much of a high priority but that light and the flip top/screen protection sounds mighty tasty.
I fully agree. I love the smoother look of it too it still looks quite good. You should DEFINITELY check out the orchestral score of the Ocarina of Time soundtrack. Everytime I listen to it, it brings a tear to my eye. If they implemented that kind of sound into OOT somehow it would kick outrageous amounts of ass.Quote:

Well. I don't even have a GBA. I really do WANT the GBA: SP, but I just don't have the funds right now. I guess I should say the funds allocated to an SP. But I do want one... damn...Quote:

It's so true. I mean the opening sequence is instantly a classic to me. The horse running across the feild with the old Zelda and the camera panning with the classic harp music (or whatever it is). It's so awesome...
You know parts of a game soundtrack is good when you go back to certain areas, or travel along certain paths to hear it while you travel. lol. Great game. I can't say enough good about it. I can't even say it's not long enough because you get a long play run from it.
Why didn't you like it, exactly? How does it compare to the first Kessen? I really enjoyed that game.Quote:

Hmmmm...I think your only other choices on PS2 are Romance of the Three Kingdoms VII (which is quite good for what it is, but I don't know if that series is up your alley or not), PTO IV (which I've heard is weak), and Dynasty Tactics, which isn't really a straight-ahead strategy game. Still, I'd recommend DT over the other two.Quote:

Isn't Origins out? I was talking to people who've played it.Quote:

Are Soul Calibur 2 and PN03 scheduled for March? those are tempting.
Well if you liked the first one I don't see you being to disappointed with part 2.Quote:

I didn't like Kessen but I like the Dynasty Warriors world and its characters. The music is pretty good and graphics seems to be improved. But its to easy, I've completed maybe 8 stages now and never lost, just start a battle with some magic and other specials and you'll be fine. You don't need to plan that much before a battle either, or maybe I've just been lucky. It just feels like I'm watching a movie sometimes.
Mind you that I'm not that experienced in strategy games but I can't believe that this is one of the genres better offerings.
It seems like the voice acting is done bad on purpose(I think one of the generals did the voice for Pack/Puck in Sword of the Berserk btw) to strengthen and go in line with some of the games more humorous situations and characters, seeing as there have been atleast three close-ups of the same girls breasts now and other stuff.
Is TK7 out in the west, I thought that was a japan only series?Quote:

Oh. I'm also getting the Futurama Season 1 DVD. I know it's not gaming but it's deserves a mention incase people don't know it's coming out. Futurama is and will always be one of the best shows, ever.Quote:

Can't believe i'm the only one here buying VF4 Evolution next month...
When does that Futurama DVD drop anyways?
Heh, well, that sounds like the first one (except with magic and humour...hmmm...)Quote:

Dynasty Tactics uses the same theme, but plays quite differently and doesn't have the chick/magic/humour factors.
Yep, it's out in the west. You may be thinking of Nobunaga's Ambition (which I kind of prefer), the last few installmnts of which haven't made it over here for whatever reason.Quote:

RT3K is far more of a serious historical sim; no single guys taking out whole armies, not much in the way of cinemas or plot (aside from the actual background history), more actual governing, and more complex turn-based battles.
If you've got a bit of time, I've got detailed impressions of RT3K7 here:
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/board/s...three+kingdoms
And a fairly detailed review of Dynasty Tactics here:
http://www.the-nextlevel.com/board/s...tactics+review
Anyway, thanks for the Kessen II info - I may hold off on it for a while. It's not like I need more stuff like that to play right now anyway, heh.
add pokemon that list...
Tenchu 3!!! HURRAY!
Zelda Wind Waker
maybe Soul Calibur 2.
but I did say I already had Zelda preordered. But you're right - one game a year? This year? I'd rather sell a kidney. Hey...Quote:

So Soul Calibur 2 and VF4 Evolution will be out domestically in March or will they just be imports?
Does Winning Eleven 6 come out in March? If so, that should be added to every single list in this thread.
Both are imports. SC2 will come to US in September. As for VF4E, I dont know when :(Quote:

WE6? You guys are 8 months too late :P
Forget 8 months.. it's the first Winning Eleven game to be released in NA. It's years late...... But not too late! I can't wait. ;)Quote:

Well, I decided to take the plunge and sell my current Gameboy Advance.
So, to update, in March I'll be getting:
Marvel vs Capcom 2 (if it has Live)
Zelda: The Wind Waker
Gameboy Advance SP
Sonic Advance 2
Isn't the thing that lets you play GB games on your Gamecube coming out in March?
EDIT: It's not. :(
End of the month. Something like the 22nd or 25th.Quote:

Thanks for the links, doesn't look like Romance of the Three Kingdoms was released in EU but I'll be sure to pick up Dynasty Tactics when I get the chance.
It wasn't? That's a shame. Oh well. I enjoyed DT more - RT3K hasn't changed substantially (Certainly not what you'd expect out of 4 sequels) over the last decade, anyway. Tactics is not that tough to get into; after an hour or so you should have figured out a few combos, and the head-demolishing coolness will come screaming through :DQuote:

This March, I want April. It can't come any sooner.
