April 1 is the worst day of the year to be online. This EGM business brought back memories of every April 1 I've (just barely) lived through since I first came online. The joke's tired, guys. Save us all the trouble and *please* neglect to celebrate April Fool's Day.
The worst one of all was last year, with that GIA business. X_X
HOLY SHIT! THEY'RE RELEASING IT!Quote:

I mean... er-herm...
Heh. Acclaim showed footage of that at a focus group I was at. Now that info's been released...
There was one thing I absolutely LOATHED about this game. They... they fixed it... I am not at liberty to say what it was, but I am pleased. Why? When I was watching the demo of this game, I saw ACTUAL physics and what seemed like SOLID GAMEPLAY. This is Acclaim we're talking about, folks. I think they're trying. If this is indeed the game I think it is, we could all be in for a nice surprise.
I thought the GIA really closed last year. Don't tell me my unshaken Fool Proof April 1st record has been broken.
It kind of did close...

So you guys are telling me that Sheng Long won't appear if I get all perfects in Street Fighter II?
Only if you play it on a Sega Neptune.
The Sega Virtual Hampster web page joke EGM pulled about 2-3 years back is classic. "FOOOOOOOOOLED YOUUUUUUUU!"
They fooled me into thinking you could play as Akuma in RE :/
Yes, the GIA did close. The bad part was that they decided to close on April Fool's Day, and the site was always notorious for its extremely convincing April Fool's jokes (or non-jokes). Closing the site on that day added an element of disbelief that made it hurt that much more. :/
