Ultimate MUSCLE, to me, is all about stupidity. You just sit back and watch Kid Muscle do stupid things, and totally freak out. It's fun to watch.
The gameplay screenshot has decent looking characters and an nice german suplex animation. I don't know what the hell that ass thing is about, my guess is something to do with farting and the piledriver is odd. Maybe it's an ingame cutscene when you do a signature move or something.
I'll keep my eye on it. Thanks for the info. (Yes I realize I'm entirely crazy for giving this the time of day)
Kinda reminds me of Tecmo World Wrestling, appearance-wise. It could be good.

Well I happen to be a fan of MUSCLE back in the day on NES (yeah I know Pro Wrestling was better!) and the screenshots do not look bad at all. I'll definitely give it a shot if the price creeps to sub $20 levels.

To hell with the GBA version. THQ is releasing an AKI-developed cel-shaded title on home consoles. It looks fantastic.
A) The Gamecube game looks awesome.
B) You guys are referencing the screenshots, look at the movies. This game is ass and I loved my muscle figures back in the day, I'm not hater.
Trust me, unless there is some interconnectivity with the GC version that you can't live without, avoid this one. Or wait until it hits the bargain bin two weeks later.

The GBA game probably is shit. Only a few companies actually try to make a good GBA game. On the other hand the Gamecube game does look sweet. Especially the fact that you collect little toy capsules with M.U.S.C.L.E Men, or Kinikuman...whatever you prefer, inside them.
Its no fucking Urban Yeti, thats for sure.
