Internet Explorer and Windows support the display of most languages. Make sure you have "Install On Demand" enabled when attempting to view a Japanese website - IE will then ask you if you would like to install Japanese Language Support. Click on "Yes", and then insert your Windows CD into your PC's CD / DVD ROM drive. Support for Japanese text should then be installed automatically.

Most of the time I've got it to d/l from msn.com directly just by visiting a .jp site and getting the prompt to toss the Language Pack on. You can also get the J-IME program from there so that you can enter Japanese text into certain spots, like this one.

Giving you the (font) file it uses would allow you to view it on something like MS Word but that'd probably prove cumbersome.

Also if you're running 2k or XP, you can just add addition language support under the control panel.

So the name of this thread goes from MSG for GC first pics, to where you can download Japanese text.

You can also click on Windows Update, and get it there.

or you can select it in the Internet Explorer install program and download it off the internet.

I'm sick of endless remakes.

If a remake is to be made, I'd much rather have a remake of the first Metal Gear game.

Stop pussy-footing Konami!

Why do they have to "test" so damn much? Everytime a new system is released, they have to "earn" the right to have Konami games. If it were the Konami of the NES & SNES days, that'd be just fine. With the Konami of today, which is so hit & miss, I don't think they have the right to pull crap like that.

Hopefully it will sell and we'll be blessed with more Konami games (as long as the Castlevanias are like SotN and the Contras like SS), :)
