Some great quotes in that article. It sounds like a few women felt threatened by a giant snow penis (like they were going to get assaulted by it). I would have offered to make a giant vagina...wonder what they would have thought of that.

Some kids did this at my school 2 years ago. We had a big snow storm and a few kids built it in front of 2 dorms. It was at least six feet tall and as far as snow sculptures go, was a fine piece of work. It got ripped down a few hours later.

Some guys at my school made a 8 foot tall snow hairy naked fat chick. It was pretty cool, and leafs made up the hair in all the right places.

And if for some reason I ever go visit Harvard I will wear a big dick costume. It will be cool to make the paper.

If they think that's threatening, it's a good thing I don't go there.

The article was well-written (and fun to read :p) but it sounds like everyone who's against the snow-wang has some kind of feminist agenda. (*re-reads article...oh yeah, Keel's a self-described feminist. :rolleyes: ) Everything that comes out of her mouth makes me wince. Is she incapable of taking a joke? If she really felt threatened by it, she should've cut it off with a pair of hedgeclippers and built a snow-knife next to it or something. I mean, c'mon, show a little creativity.

The best part was when that feminist scholar claimed that the penis shouldn't have been allowed because it was in a public forum. Ha! Nevermind freedom of expression.

I don't hate many things, but I hate feminism.

The last sentence of that article basically sums up my feelings on this.

College people are fiery and passionate about their ideals, and well feminist college students are still college people. Still it was a joke and she could've/should've used some humor (the scissor thing was clever) instead of just freaking out like she did.

Too bad nobody took a picture, though.

I have a friend who goes to school in DC, and some people made a snow sculpture of a woman giving a guy head. Pretty sweet.
