Very true. I know a lot people who aren't really racist per se, but more "racial", in that they view the world along racial lines and don't realize that their comments, derived from these beliefs, might be offensive to some. In their heads they're open-minded because they recognize differnces, but not racist because of constantly making an issue out of it.
