So I just got back from Cartoon Network...

I just got back from Cartoon Network/Turner Studios in Atlanta! As a student animator, it was like a visit to Mecca for me. (The trip was for a 'History of 2-D Animation' class I'm taking.)

Quick notes:

I got to meet the guys who do Aqua Teen Hunger Force!

They're Re-Designing the Toonami Sequence again! Bulky Tom and Old-English style text! (and they're doing a comic of the character!)

I watched blood get edited out of a Kenshin episode!

I got a really cool cop-show style Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law poster for free!

I talked to Adult Swim producers! (the Family Guy/Futurama hour is a go!)

I got to see designs for stuff most people barely know about! Teen Titans, Clone Wars, Low Brow, and Penguins Behind Bars... all things that look really, really neat.

Such a great day. Hope I get to work there sometime... :D

Oh, and I don't really know what to think of the new Tom, his design is is bit....I dunno, we'll just have to wait and see. The new absolution looks bad ass though.

Remember when they had that mini series about the Absolution? At the end they took a vote for the new wings or engine for the ship. Did they actually go through with it and redesign the ship with what was voted on?
